If you are playing the game alone, your goal is to take the barrels that are dropped from the air and roll them the way of Mario or Luigi. If you are playing the game with two players, the person who is playing with Mario's character, will try to save the princess, and the player who is playing with Konkey Dong will roll the barrels.

Player 1:
Move: “A, D”
Roll barrel: “S”

Player 2:
Move: “LEFT and RIGHT ARROW KEYS”
Climb: “UP ARROW KEY”
