Grazing Giraffe is a cozy sliding puzzle game where a hungry giraffe and its ridiculously long neck turn a peaceful savanna into a surprisingly clever brain teaser.
Your goal is to guide the giraffe across every tile and eat all the leaves. There is one important catch: once the giraffe starts moving, it keeps sliding in that direction until something stops it. Trees, walls, ponds and even your own growing neck can block the way.
Each move therefore needs a little planning. A path that looks perfect at first can leave the final few tiles completely unreachable. Study the board, use the obstacles as stopping points and find the route that covers the entire puzzle.
With 64 handcrafted levels spread across 8 savanna chapters, Grazing Giraffe gradually builds on its simple movement system while introducing new layouts and mechanics.
How to Play Grazing Giraffe?
- Slide to Move: Swipe or press a direction to send your giraffe gliding across the board. Your giraffe will not stop moving until it collides with a solid object like a wall, a tree, or a pond.
- Eat the Leaves: As you move, your giraffe's neck stretches behind it, covering the ground. You must fill every required tile on the board to consume all the leaves and finish the level.
- Don't Block Yourself: Similar to the classic game of Snake, your own long neck acts as a barrier. You cannot cross over your own trail, making every turn a crucial strategic decision.
- Use the Rewind: Made a wrong turn and painted yourself into a corner? The game is designed to be stress-free. Simply press the rewind button to take back your last few moves and try a different approach.
- Explore the Chapters: Progress through 64 beautifully handcrafted puzzle boards spread across 8 distinct chapters, traveling from the sunny Grassland all the way to the Starlit Savanna.
Game Controls:
- Keyboard: Arrow Keys / WASD to slide, R or Backspace to rewind, M to mute, Esc to close the menu.
- Mouse: Click and drag to slide. Use the rewind button to undo moves.

How does the movement work?
Grazing Giraffe uses "ice sliding" mechanics combined with Snake. When you choose a direction, your character slides continuously until it hits a solid obstacle. You cannot stop midway or turn before hitting a tree, pond, or wall.
What happens if I get completely stuck?
Because the game is meant to be a cozy and relaxing puzzle experience, there is no hard penalty for getting stuck. If your neck blocks your only exit, just tap the rewind button to undo your recent moves step-by-step until you find a better path.
