How to Play Run?

• Left and Right Arrow Keys: Steer your alien side to side.
  
• Spacebar: Jump over the empty gaps in the floor.

• Choose Your Game Mode: You can select Adventure Mode to progress through 50 increasingly difficult levels, or test your ultimate endurance in the never ending Infinite Mode.
  
• Defy Gravity: When a gap is too wide to jump across, simply steer your character into the left or right walls. The camera will instantly spin, opening up a completely new and safe path forward.
  
• Avoid the Void: The tunnel is full of massive holes. If you fall through the floor, you will float away into deep space and have to restart your current run from the beginning.
  
• Plan Ahead: Look far down the tunnel. Sometimes a single jump is not enough, and you will need to rapidly shift gravity multiple times to navigate around complex traps.

How do I unlock the Skater character?

When you start the game, you only have access to the Runner. To unlock the Skater, you just need to successfully complete Level 10 in Adventure Mode. Once unlocked, you can select the Skater from the main menu for much faster movement and longer jumps.

Why do I keep falling into the gaps even when I press jump?

This is a very common issue for retro players! Timing your jumps in the original Run engine can feel a bit strict. If you press the jump button when you are too close to the very edge of the floor, the game might not register the input. Try to press jump a split second earlier before reaching the hole.
